Members’ Juried: PAAM 100, November 21 – January 18, 2015                      

Juror: Craig Bloodgood, Contemporary Curator, The Art Complex Museum, Duxbury, MA

Provincetown Art Association and Museum received over 250 submissions on the theme of 100 years of PAAM and juror, Craig Bloodgood, chose 61 pieces for this exhibition. Bloodgood states, “I had a lot of good work to choose from, about five times as many pieces as I wanted to show. I chose with an eye toward craft. I chose work that lived up to the theme, and I leaned towards new work. The compromise, was between wanting to show as many deserving works as possible and still giving each piece a reasonable amount of space. In the end, I was looking to showcase the skill and talent that the members’ artwork presented to me.”
